Frances Pauli

Frances Pauli writes speculative fiction, usually with touches of humor or romance, which means, of course, that she has trouble choosing sides.
She's always been a fan of things outside the box, odd, weird or unusual, and that trend follows through to her tales which feature aliens, fairies, and even, on occasion, an assortment of humans.
More information on her work and upcoming releases can be found on her website.

Jaleta Clegg

Jaleta Clegg does not live in Washington, although many days she wishes she did. She writes science fiction adventure, high fantasy, and silly horror. All eleven books in her space opera series, The Fall of the Altairan Empire, are available. Her latest release, Dark Dancer, is an elven steampunk fantasy. She's currently working on what she is sure will be a best-seller: her Master's thesis on measuring curiosity about astronomy. She's planning on adding zombies and werewolves to it and releasing it on Amazon next fall. Jaleta loves the strange and absurd, like deep-water squids and zucchini recipes and her children. Her collection of campy B-movies is rivaled only by her eclectic music collection and her list of crocheted abominations.

Trish McCallan

Trish McCallan was born in Eugene, Oregon, and grew up in Washington State, where she began crafting stories at an early age. Her first books were illustrated in crayon, bound with red yarn, and sold for a nickel at her lemonade stand. Trish grew up to earn a bachelor’s degree in English literature with a concentration in creative writing from Western Washington University, taking jobs as a bookkeeper and human-resource specialist before quitting her day job to write full time. Forged in Fire came about after a marathon reading session, and a bottle of Nyquil that sparked a vivid dream. She lives in eastern Washington, with three golden retrievers and a cat that thinks it's a golden retriever.

R.J.J.Goude

Having put the writing process on hold to grow a family, R. J.J. Goude picked up the pen again in August of 2010 to relieve her brain of the replaying scenes wrecking havoc there. The love of writing was reborn and now she squeezes in time for it in her juggle of 5 children, household, church, teaching children with visual impairment and connecting with her best friend and husband. Roughly three years later she is still writing and her WIP, Theara: Dragonsblood Book One will soon be self published. Other works are in progress too. Look for updates here and on the blog or on her site.

T.R. Goodman

TR Goodman came into the world in the aftermath of the Mount St. Helens volcanic eruption. From an early age, he cloaked himself in stories of fantasy worlds, spaceships, superheroes, and dragons, though the mundanes assure him that Washington State hasn’t seen a dragon since at least the 1970′s. Now that he is grown, he is well within his rights to keep a steampunk dragon in the back yard. As long as it doesn’t eat all the fruit on the trees, everything is shiny.

Armed with a near-encyclopedic knowledge of Star Wars (except the prequels, which he chooses to ignore), retro video games, and 1980′s cartoons, not to mention a bootleg sonic screwdriver he bought off a vagrant time lord sometime next Thursday, TR Goodman weaves words into stories of magic and adventure, with the occasional alien or spaceship thrown in to keep things interesting.
